WOODWORKING
chevron wooden headboardThis project began with a 3D model of the headboard using Autodesk Fusion 360 and from there I was able to generate a 2D drawing of the plans. After the plans were complete, the 1"x4" pieces of wood were cut down using a chop saw and glued together in a chevron pattern. The headboard was reinforced with a plywood backing, framed with 1"x1" strips, sanded, and stained.

sewing
totoro fleece onesieI started by creating my own pattern by combining a hoodie and sweatpants pattern into one continuous pattern piece. The pattern pieces were cut out of grey and white fleece and sewn together using industrial flat lock and serger machines. Elastic bands were added to both the wrist and ankle and allow for the onesie to fit as a "one size fits most"

signmaking
EL Wire SignNeon signs give an awesome glow, but they are tricky to work with. This sign is made using neon's modern cousin: EL wire. It’s low-voltage, easy to bend, and it’s driven by
inexpensive inverters that can do tricks like flashing or fading. Perfect for making your own “neon” sign. Tools: Electric Drill, Universal Laser Cutter |
